Hosting and Security

Our multi-tenant SaaS platform is hosted entirely within AWS US-West-2 (Oregon). All data is encrypted at rest (AWS KMS) and in transit (TLS 1.2+), with strict tenant isolation enforced at the application layer. HoneyHive is SOC 2 Type II, GDPR, and HIPAA compliant. Since our multi-tenant cloud is hosted in the US, customers requiring GDPR-compliant EU data residency should use our Dedicated Cloud. Need hosting in a different AWS region? Our Dedicated Cloud option supports deployment in any AWS region with private networking via AWS PrivateLink and single-tenant isolation.

Getting Started

Start by logging into HoneyHive. Expected time: 5 minutes

Open the HoneyHive application

Go to app.us.honeyhive.ai.

Log in with your preferred SSO provider

We support Google, GitHub, and Microsoft SSO. You can also create an account with your email and password.

Complete the onboarding flow

You will be prompted to share some basic information about your organization and your role.
Your account is now set up and you can start using HoneyHive.

Create a Project

Everything in HoneyHive is organized by projects. A project is a space to develop, test, and monitor a specific AI application. Expected time: 1-2 minutes
  1. Navigate to the projects page
  2. Click New Project and give it a name
You have created your first project in HoneyHive. You can now start logging data, running evaluations, and more.

Get Your API Key

An ingestion API key authenticates the SDK and lets it send traces to your project. Expected time: less than 1 minute Go to Settings > Project > API Keys. The page opens on the Ingestion tab. Click Create API Key, name the key, and click Create Key. Copy the key from the dialog and store it as HH_INGESTION_API_KEY - it is only shown once. An ingestion key can only send traces and events. To run experiments or read data back, also create a project API key on the Project tab and store it as HH_API_KEY. The SDK uses each key where it applies. See Ingestion keys.
